Replacing Auto Dim Side Door Mirrors with Blue Heated Wide glass replacements?

I have auto dimming side mirrors on my e90 330i. I am not really a fan of them, and want to replace them with the blue heated wide euro style glass. How hard are these to replace these out? Id like to sell the auto dimming mirrors, but Id like to know if I have to sell the entire side mirror or if I can just sell the glass part itself?

Also, are these the correct replacements?

replacing is extremely easy. just push the mirror to tilt up/down so that you can grab an edge with your fingers and just pull. Don't be afraid to give it a bit of pressure, they're just four little tabs holding them on. Just be careful not to pull and break the cable connected to the mirror closer to the car.

For an 06 330, the glass is much more reasonable. I have resisted doing this on my 09 328 as the glass is prohibitively expensive.

The link you show on eBay does appear to be correct though.

So strange- never heard of anyone wanting to get rid of a very useful option- and a costly one at that. I am curious as to why you want to make the switch.

Made the switch. Picked up a used OEM euro pair from Ebay.

Install was pretty easy; pry tool and a small flat head screwdriver.

Hopefully all the features will work (heat and auto dim) for the upcoming winter.

First impressions, slightly more viewable surface, the stock mirrors had a black plastic frame around them. Driver's side has a larger field of vision, but slightly warped perspective due to curvature. Passenger side, not much difference.

I normally crank my mirrors outwards in order to cover the blind spots between the rear and side view mirrors.

It was an ok upgrade, spent around 239.00 including shipping.
