OT: Saw this road sign last night? is it a joke? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

It is a real sign.
If you don't want to kill alot of frogs or get frog blood on your car I would avoid that road.

I think the issue max, is that Dave forgot the smilie.

So he either made a mistake and forgot to add the "I'm only teasing old chum" smiley or he was being rather sharp.

In my opinion

I think I'd have been a little quizzical as to why he chose to respond in this way too ?

It's a warning triangle, i.e. warning sign.

Technically I think they can put a picture of anything inside it.

I've seen owls, deer, Horses. etc.

Never seen a toad before, but I guess in this day and age of eco freindliness where the life of amphibians rate above that of Burmese humans it doesn't surprise me.
