is this faulty oil sensor? e90 325i

got the warning this morning: Measurement inactive.Service interval adjusted. Have the system checked during the next oil service.
Could it be that oil sensor is faulty?
Before that i still had around 2500miles before oil change and oil level was somewhere in the middle. (Checked week ago)
Thanks in advance

I was checking my oil level from the idrive & i got the same message instead of the level, it said "Measurement inactive, service interval adjusted" I gave the car last to the dealer 2 weeks back for brake fluid change but when i go to the service required section of the idrive it tells me that the oil change is due on 6/2014. I have attached both the pics, what was the solution of the problem?
Thanks..
