Performance exhaust fitment

Hey guys, I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find it. Will an N55 e90 PE fit an N54 e90? Both LCI. I appreciate your input!

I'd say it's a yes, but the N55 version is probably just going to be a set of mufflers -- much like the PE for a N54 E92 car. The PE for the N54 E90 comes with the X-pipe to replace the factory resonator. It actually might be a good setup for a car with catless downpipes that wants it a little quieter for daily driving. Plus I think it's a little cheaper for the N55 setup.

Hmm so fitment would work but it wouldn't sound as loud/aggressive as the n54? I have OEM DPs (California emissions BS lol), this really puts me on the fence

Different part numbers ? Might be worth trying out an N55 PE and midpipes then. Not positive. Fitment-wise though, no issues. That's all I was really considering when I answered, lol.
