Hey Torontonians, just wanna see how many members live in the GTA area that would be interested in coming to meets next summer somewhere in the city. SO chime in, post a little about yourself and maybe a pic of your car.

My name is Mike, 23 years old looking to get my E90 sometime in the spring of '06. My brother's got a 2005 Silver Grey 325i and my dad drives a 2001 Phoenix Yellow M3 Cabriolet. Live up in Woodbridge, and I'm looking forward to the summertime meets next year.

I'd be interested in any car meets. I live in Brampton so I'm game for a meet anywhere in the GTA. I got my 330i back in August (had to wait almost 90days for delivery) and it's equipped as: sparkling graphite, manual transmission, sport pack, nav and active steering.

That's cool your dad has an e46 M3 in phoenix yellow. I love that colour!

Well guys, as it looks now, the 325i isn't the best financial decision for me right now. Looks like I'll be getting something else instead but I will still be lurking around these boards and maybe come out to a meet or two with my bro and my dad. Congrats on all your cars gentlemen and I can't wait to see what the summer has in store for all of us.

What about a base 323i for $35,000?

I'm looking at a different kinda car, unfortunately not BMW. The new VW Golf GTI fully loaded is under $32,000. Comes with a 2.0L turbo engine with 200hp, 207ft-lbs. With a performance ECU tune you're looking at 262hp, and 303ft-lbs at the crank. Also I can afford to mod the golf more as parts are not as expensive as BMW parts.

I've always wanted a BMW but I see it like this; if I get one now I won't be able to drive anything else. Since I'm only 23 people will also look at me as one of those spoiled kids so I don't wanna come across as one of those people to the people I know. Also the new 323 is essentially the exact same car as my brothers so if I want to drive one I'll take his.

Malby7, good luck with your purchase. Sounds like the Golf suits your tastes quite well as a nice daily driver/tuner/project car all in one. Plus, it's a hot hatch. Image and prejudices aside, people will think whatever they want so it's good to go with what makes you happy.

If you could make it out to a meet, that's great. You're likely to be hitting up VW message boards but that's understandable!

Hey All!

Just wanted to say what's up...although I can't meet up with you guys cause I now live in Virginia...I moved here almost a year ago and I miss TO very much!!

BUT I dont miss the winters

I have ordered a 330 - it's all listed in my sig..I cant believe the COST of the 330 in Canada!! That's one of the reason I bought it while I am here and will bring it back when I return and Lords knows the damn GST will get me!!! The 330 is close to $10000 differance..so basically for the price of the 325 you can get a 330..I feel even worse for the people in Europe..

Anyway I will return to TO someday....

hey all, got my e90 on canada day 05', so yep had it for a while now. oh yea, anyone know of any good garages in the toronto area (preferably near the bayview & sheppard area) that can do suspension mods? thanks...

After months of deliberating and test driving everything under the sun it looks like my new car will be a 2006 Audi A4 Quattro. With more options than a 325i for about $60/month less. It's also better on gas and with an $800 chip more powerful (ie. 230hp, 250ft-lb). Maybe later on when the E90 drops the lease rate I'll lease it after the 3 year lease now. I'm still gonna hang around and hopefully make it out to some meets.
