Where to buy Glossy Black Grills for e90?

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None
Item Interest
Does anyone know where I can get Glossy Black Grills? There are a lot of sites with Matte Black and Carbon Fiber, what I"m looking for is shiney black ones, or painted jet black ones.

Thanks!

You can always try to DIY.
I did mine like that, but with a matte-black finish.
Shouldn't be hard to put a glossy finish with some clearcoat or something like that..
Besides that, I have no idea

there's one dutch site or whatever that sells them for liek $120usd... your other option is to DIY... but most people experience flaking, etc... esp when painting the chrome...

Well you're supposed to prep the piece by sanding down the chrome, so its got this brushed aluminum look.
I've had mine painted for a while & there's no problem with it yet & that's without a layer of clearcoat.

what i did was buy the matte and painted my Monaco Blue, but i brought it to respectable body shop. I would do the same; buy them for like $60 new, and it would cost like $40 to paint it or DIY for like $12.
