335xi vs 2013 Mustang GT

So a coworker of mine has been running his mouth off about how a stock 5.0 can run low 12s/high 11s with drag radials. I laughed at him and his Rustang 5.slow. We went to NED Friday night and (unbeknownst to me) I had a boost leak from the cold pipe coupler and he couldn't get traction (because he sucks at drag racing). Even with all that going on I still won. We both agreed that night was bad for both of us and we set up a rematch September 4th. This is serious folks, it's for a case of beer!

He has: Bama tune, intake, exhaust, coilovers and just ordered drag radials.

I have: JB4 G5 board running map 5, BMS DCI, muffler delete, VRSF 7" FMIC and might run a few gallons of e85.

So to all my bimmer brethren, come out and cheer me on as I stomp his redneck ferrari into the asphalt and keep the other 74 Mustang drivers from stomping me in the face for mercilessly out launching them.

A stock 5.0 will definitely not run those times, but a modded one on drag radials can run low 12s.

Unlike the 335i vs SRT8 Challenger this race will actually go down and probably be filmed.

I was crushing Mustangs and Mopar all night last Wednesday at street night at NED and my best was 12.9sec. Granted That day was 90 degrees and humid, so everyone's times were up about 1/2 a sec. My car is a Bren tuned FBO on 93 Octane. I am sure I would have got the 1/2 a second back if I used the E85 map.
I also took down a SRT Challenger 392 and I messed up my launch too.

A 2013 GT will run a mid 12 off the factory floor with someone who knows how to drive it. They are faster than most people think.

Case of beer? You better get your game face on--that some big stakes. Good luck, and fix your boost leaks!

Boost leak fixed. Thinking about running e85 but I'll see how the car runs first. I definitely have the driver mod, a much needed item for racing. The Mustang driver does not...

As former owner of several mustangs, that car with those mods and being automatic is capable of running high 11's.. However thats no error driving!!!

The mustang is a manual which is partly why I have the driver mod over its owner.

Manual. He asked what I used for launch control for my 60ft times and I told him a sophisticated yet timely method called left and right foot.

Deal. I'll even post a video of the mustang losing to an ST Focus to better depict the driver's (in)ability to drag race.

You definitely need DPs if you want to make the stomping even worse
Defintely put like 4gals of 93 octane and 2 of e85

Here is a tip... leave your gas tank almost empty and don't use more the 25% of E85 or you will get a ECU codes. I ran 50/50 just to test e85 and got 4 codes. Later I put 3-4 Gallons of e85 and the rest 93 like 10-11 gallons and no codes. But be carefull with e85 heard it could tax your fuel pump.

I would put 2 gal of 93 octane unleaded and 0.4 gal of e85 and you smoke him like a match!
