New Porsche Panamera Diesel - 296 HP/479 TQ

Quote:
The 3.0-liter V6 unit, which Porsche says is completely new, offers a 20 percent increase in performance compared to the previous engine, which developed 247hp (250 PS). Peak torque is also boosted by 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) to 650 Nm (479 lb-ft), and is available between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm.

These upgrades translate into faster acceleration and increased top speed for the premium liftback model. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is now covered in 6 seconds (6.8 seconds before), while top speed is now rated at 259 km/h or 161 mph (244 km/h before).

Awesome. I hoped they would do this with the Cayenne's smaller sibling so hopefully it will translate over to there too. 6 second 0-60 is a bit too slow for me though, if im buying a Porsche it sure better not be slower than a Hyundai Genesis

I actually quite like the look of it beside the front, the profile reminds me a whole lot of the Infiniti fx

It looks like the 535D doesn't have anything to worry about from the oil burning Panamera.

They should not allow photos of the Panamera. Its much nicer in person. Its hideous when photographed.

I remember when Porsche swore it would never use diesel as a power source...

Doubtful, since the Panamera diesel won't be sold in the USA.

The best we can hope for is that same motor in the Audi A6.

Sorry to scare you Bro! Sadly its truth, price for full equip 640d [ i dont think you can buy that superb version in both Americas ( i think best diesel in the world) ] is even higher, and its not TOP OF THE LIST model...

Keep in mind currenct 1$= 2.9 PLN so it cost about 220k$...

So what "Murica said about " meanwhile in poland" ? Honestly if you dont want to have a heartattack dont even bother to check prices in Norway or easly add about 20-30% to Polish price...
