Lower rear shock mount?

Anyone tried this instead of buying the M3 control arm?

I have considered it but decided to hold off and eventually get the M3 arms, purely for the weight savings, and pair them with the rear upper mount that is identical to this that Bimmerworld sells and I'm almost positive TMS also sells them.

Just bought the M3 one
Is this the one you talking about? What kind of shock you installing?

Yes it is. I'll be sticking with my current setup, BC Racing extreme low coilovers, but I was gonna have the rod shortened up a little bit and threaded so that I can stick a rod end onto it. I'm not gonna go for a true coilover rear suspension since I don't have the mounting points reinforced with a cage though. I still have to make sure the chassis is gonna like it, it may not but it should. And I'd rather not find out the hard way.
