Question Part #7544369 bolts x 26 for Valve Cover gasket job?

I know that per the DIY, these bolts may not be absolutely necessary, but I had two questions:

(1) Have you had any problems after putting some miles on the car after doing the job and NOT replacing the bolts?

(2) For those who DID replace the bolts, is part # 7544369 correct? I have been googling this part # without any luck and think it might be wrong.

Thanks in advance!

I didn't replace the bolts. One snapped in half on the final torque down. The bolt is still stuck in there, couldn't drill it out.

The rest are holding fine. Even with one bolt essentially doing nothing, the valve cover is not leaking.

Aka, don't go cheap. Just pony up the ~$120 for bolts and save yourself the headache.

Yeah, I planned on doing it, but I don't think I have the right part #.

They can't even get me the correct coils, so I am not very faithful in their abilities. Perhaps I can try ECS.

Yea I’d just shoot ECS or Turner an email. Actually, I think one of those vendors has a pre-packaged VC gasket kit. Maybe I’m just making that up, but I see to recall that.
