Check Engine Light After Service

I'm at 49,922 miles now. Brought my car in for service before the warranty runs out. When I was getting my car back, the person noticed that my check engine light was on. They replaced the belt tensioner because they found a leak. Would that cause a check engine light? SA said its unlikely and probably is the vanos solenoids or an emissions problem.

They also asked if I had any modifications to the car. I have cyba air scoops, k&n filter, and charcoal delete for like 30k+ miles now so I don't think that's the problem.

What do you guys think the most common cause is? I just want to be sure I get the problem solved before 50,000 miles. Its such a coincidence for the light to go off.

if the car was at the dealer, why didn't they read the codes? at this point, that's really the only way to see what the problem is.

It was after hours I guess. They needed a tech to go look at it. I just wanted to see what the common problems are before they start clearing codes and telling me something else. 80 miles left on warranty!

Turns out it was a faulty intake pressure sensor and they replaced it under warranty. What a coincidence! Well I'm out of warranty now!
