2008 - E92 335i for sale - M Sport Auto

Hi all,

Well the time has come, it feels like I waited forever to buy my 335i and now after a short 15 months I have to sell it

As much as I continue to love the car I now have a company car and I can't justify keeping the car and using it as little as I have been recently, plus I don't have room for 3 cars.

Ive included to the Pistonheads ad below:
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...--2008/1692293

Being honest I've started the price high as I'm not in a rush to sell. I'm hoping to get in the region of 15k but we'll see.

Many thanks

Ok so I feel I have perhaps overpriced my car, I wanted to start at an optimistic price since I'm not in a rush to sell but no point in advertising it to get no calls

Should I be advertising for 15k and hope for an offer or should I be advertising for 14k even, or less? I've looked at other 335i's for sale on autotrader and there isn't a huge amount around. If i search for 335i auto coupe there is only a few to choose from.

I think if I don't get offers between 14-15k I'd need to reconsider if its worth selling. I may let the missus have it and let her sell her run around.

Well had the car advertised for a while now and no buyers, I've had the odd call and email showing a bit of interest, asking questions and offering PX but no one with the cash.

I'd pretty much resorted to keeping the car as I'd rather keep than sell cheap and I've been letting the missus use it occasionally but she may find it too expensive to run so I'm going to advertise for 14k ONO and see if this gets some renewed interest.

I wonder if its worth more like 13k but when I look for post 2008 e92's with nav etc there isnt anything much advertised for less than 15k. Whether they are being sold at this price I guess is another thing.

Am I asking too much or should I hold out for offers close to 14k?

Seems a bit dear for private with that mileage. You have broken 60k which means warranty is and it's nearly 6 years old.

14,950 - 08 plate, 43k miles

16,750 - 09 plate, 36k miles.

Thank you for your input, I'm trying to price fairly considering the mileage. I've advertised a grand cheaper than the blue one you mention above for the 30k mile difference and I'd expect white to be a more desireable colour. The 2009 car is 3k more expensive.

Do you think I should expect offers around 13k?

The 335i market is all over the place atm. I recently sold my E93 sport with 70k for 11k.

I would say it will sell for around 13k IMO.

Yeah I think so. Price at around 14 accept under. Don't price too low because people then wonder why it's so cheap.

White with red is a great combo, but if you look at the majority of cars, they are black with boring black interior. People like to play it safe and drink the BMW koolaid when buying their cars hence black/black being so prevalent.

Also an 08 plate in white will ring alarm bells a bit as Alpine white was very rare back then (BMW wouldn't sell you a white car!) and a lot of early plate white cars have been wrapped.

its a tough market at the moment for 335's just keep advertising it and drop it by 500 each 2 weeks until you find a buyer.
Our 335 convertible had no interest at 13k a late 2007, huge spec, 48k miles but no interest from autotrader
