Using INPA for Airbag Diagnostics

Hey guys,

I have the boring non-sport wheel in my car and I have a new M3 wheel with paddle shifters coming in the mail to do the steering wheel swap.

I also purchased a used sport airbag from Europe, and it should arrive in about a week. With all the counterfeit airbags coming out of China & just the danger in using an airbag that may have been taken from a totaled vehicle or damaged during shipping I want to perform diagnostics to confirm this airbag is in good working order.

So, does anyone know if you can use BMW Tools/INPA to do these diagnostics, or is this something the dealer would need to do?
