Sound coming from suspension?

I have h&r sport springs with OEM shocks.. I know I should have gone the right way the first time.. Anyways, every time I go slow over a bump, and going up and down my driveway, I hear like a creaking and squeaking noise from my rear left suspension... The car doesn't sag on one side, but how can you tell if your shocks have gone out? I just installed the springs at LTMW like 3 weeks ago....

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that something is broken too quickly. Could be that some parts around there may need some lubrication. I had a VW GTI whose rear suspension started to sqeak over bumps but all it needed was the rear bushings to be lubricated a bit.

Usually when there's more serious creaking or an excessively bouncy ride, or not sure how well this works on Bimmers since we have slightly stiffer shocks... But for most cars you can check it by holding down a corner of the car for a few seconds then letting go, and if it lifts straight into place you're OK, but if it bounces then it might mean it's time to replace.
