Thanks Baccus@AMS for the FSC Code! I got my maps updated today. There were still the original 2009 maps so they were quite out of date.

Luckily my USB port worked great in my 2009 so I got lucky there.

Thanks so much to everyone for this!

Will I still have traffic info after map upgrade? What is it linked to, anyway? Is it part of BMW assist?

Updating the maps doesn't affect services like traffic info and such.

Thanks Dracon!

Thanks Dracon for posting the files, much appreciated.

Most of all, thanks for the the fast turnaround time to provide me the FSC Code, even on a Sunday.

My NAV is now updated and everything worked like a charm!

Successfully upgrade my NAV from 2010 to 2014 maps. Thanks goes to Dracon for uploading the files, FSC code and especially the fast response.

When you guys run the update, does it completely write over the previously loaded map, or do you need to leave the media (DVD/USB) in place?

CCC update isn't 15gb. That's the CIC update.

CCC update is 5-6gb compressed and is two DVDs.

Yeah. It's two discs, west and east. You burn the one you need and replace the DVD in the drive you currently have there.

Working on mine now. Took me a while to figure out how to burn it to the dvd, but it seems to be working now. Big thanks to Dracon for getting me a FSC code on a Sunday!

Just finished the update. I started just a little before 10pm and it didn't finish until 1245am. Even though it took longer than some of you are saying, everything seems to be in working order. I used 3 Dual Layer Kodak DVD+R's.

It takes longer if you are doing the DVD method. USB was about an hour for me, but I had tried the DVD thing first and it was taking FOREVER, and then there was a read error on the disc.

Since my car was a 2009 I didn't think the USB thing would work but luckily it did and it was way faster.

I can generate FSC codes as well, you can shoot me a PM or contact me at dracon@gmail.com.

If you aren't sure which one you need to download, shoot me an email/PM and I'll help you out.
Many thanks to Dracon for his help with 2014 Maps & FSC code - code was generated fast and worked flawlessly. Even though I never interacted with him before, we had a great communication, Darcon walked me through each step and answered all my questions - I wish all my BMW issues would resolve as fast and smooth as this one - real asset to this community !! Thx again !

I'm awaiting arrival of my new F10 535 x Drive. Will it delivery with 2013 maps or 2014 maps which I understand are now release? If it comes with 2013 mpas, do you have the maps for the NBT iDrive?

The 2014 NBT maps haven't been released to the public yet but are available on the BMW Map server.

It's a good possibility that your car will come with 2014 already installed. If not, I'd push your dealer to upgrade you to 2014 for free.

Thanks. That is what I was thinking. I'll speak to the dealer about it.

No worries, if they won't budge on it, let me know... I'm sure we can get you updated to 2014 when the NBT maps are available.

Thanks. I live in a city with less than 1M people and travel the same routes 99% of the time. I guess the updated maps can't hurt though.

I was really worried that I'd get some kind of read error, but everything finished and install was successful. I hope I don't have to do that again anytime soon.
