I think if I didn't do this kind of thing as a day job I'd probably look into it more. I am always bemused as to why you need special cables and adaptors etc. for some of these things. Does anyone know why that is? Also how big are these flashes? Is it just parameters or do you actually change the code for the ECU ?

Map 2 will continue to target 14.5psi but will feel smoother and more linear.

Map 5 will boost to 17psi - the added fueling/timing control will mean you will likely more often be boosting higher than previously.

Map 5 is where the fun will be!

Question for ya,

Once map 5 is adapted after 3 x 3rd gear WOT runs. If I change back to map 2, will I have to readapt map5 everytime?

But safer to run map 5 with the autotuning.
