Procede/Flexfuel updates (469whp/533wtq) Stock Turbo WHP Record... on a nonFBO car) http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=880319

There are logs of my car and JoeC's car running E80 in this thread, no issues since I've had the pump installed over 9 months ago.

I'm also running this pump and ran 100% E85 for both Nov. and Apr. Shift S3ctor events. Works as designed.

Is the install more involved than the DIY Walbro route? The entire reason I bought this pump was for a clean install

Any benefits running this pump over the Walbro?

I think Wedge would be able to answer that question as he does most of the work himself on his car. I believe the other 2 had it done for them.

So how many people are running this setup? I am tempted to purchase this but I just cant do it as the price is just to high for me. The walbro 455 is about $130.00 I just don't see another $460.00 worth of product there. Obviously it works and that's awesome good job!

I did it myself, you just need basic tools to unlock the ring to get in the tank and some wire strippers and crimpers to tap the factory power lines.

Clear setup and wont run into having to hack up your OEM pump bucket... retains the venturi valve (big plus).

Good Luck Guys!

What's up man? Did you get your new car yet? There is an inline Walbro LPFP available as well without having to mess with the OEM pump.

I did indeed, but now Iím on the fence since Wedge says itís a pain to installÖto be honest Iím just on the fence about how far to take my car right now. If my turbo seals are shot, Iíll probably go to hybrid turbo solutions, but if not Iíll probably just max out the stockers and see how long they last. So until I can track down the source of this smoking and oil burn, Iím not installing anymore power mods. So the pump (whenever it arrives) and HFS-4 are just sitting in my house.

Also my bad about forgetting to respond to your PM. The meth is just for IAT control and to make sure I can hit aggressive timing targets through multiple gears, honestly itís probably overkill, but this platform appears to be extremely octane hungry and IAT sensitive. I could shut up the IAT comp tables, but this seems like the best and safest overall solution. Ultimate goal on the fueling side is E50 and Boost Juice. If logs show that the meth is truly un-necessary, I may end up selling it. Right now on just E30 single gear logs look beautiful, but Iím getting a brutal timing flatline after the 3-4 shift, so thatís been pissing me off.

Yea check out my sig, all the pcv parts that can be upgraded have been, along with an OCC. My VC gasket is almost certainly shot, did plugs a couple weeks ago and there was so much oil on the threads, but none on the electrodes. So Iím hoping the VCG fixes the consumption and smokingÖ.but I have a bad feeling at least one turboís seal has given up the ghost as well. So then Iíd get to replace the snails as well. Fun!

Sounds about right VCG is going I replaced mine along with the Oil filter housing at 40k and the gaskets could have gone a little longer but were already getting brittle.

Yup, I just rolled over 50K so it's time. Iím hoping that ends the smoking and oil loss, having to do VCG and new turbos back to back would suck. Weíll see. Iíll let you know when I get a tracking number.

Install is the same. Anytime you open up the tank and pull the bucket, it's a pain... as you know...

Gotcha. Just wanted to make sure there wasnít some extra process involved, that would literally defeat the purpose of buying it in the first place.

It's more because you're able to stack a 455 with your stock using a machined head to allow for inline installation. So you have the cost of the pump, the lines and fittings, and a custom machined head.

Trust me, it's a nice setup. I've seen both solutions and ultimately it's up to you to decide on which solution you use. The FFTEC/Vishnu solution is a great solution and it works, but so does the other inline solution. Not sure if it matches flow and most important volume surge. Not something I'm interested in testing...

To me, spending the extra money for a fueling solution make sense. I think it's more important than DPs or FMIC.
