Yeah I'll probably need it too so let me know. It's pretty cool to see a shop in Worcester doing this.

I'll definitely be doing this in the springtime when I install my DPs.

Just got this job done over the weekend at Phi's shop - Chandler Auto Body. The appointment setup was smooth and I got there just over 9AM. Phi took the keys off me and got to work while I recovered from my hangover in the office. He was kind enough to entertain my request to let me see the before and after of the intake cleaning and I took some pics (they didn't come out too well tho).

They had wrapped the car up by 12:45PM and I was on my way! Great service and professionalism demonstrated by the shop - highly recommend others to get the job done there especially since it's very reasonable compared to what dealers are charging.

Earlier the car had issues such as long cranks to start, rough idling at start up and at traffic lights and inconsistent power/boosting upon throttle. Now it feels like its running a lot stronger, changing gears seamlessly, throttle response is more consistent now and just feels like I can put another 50k on it! Thanks Phi and your shop for the great service!

You should do a discounted group buy and advertise it here and in the NY/CT forum. I bet you'd have a lot of people willing to make the drive.

Sorry for the delay, Phi, but for everyone else, I just had this done last weekend over at Phi's shop. I got there at 8:30, as Phi had requested, and off he went.

iPad in hand, I hooked up to the WiFi and entertained myself for the next several hours. Had it been a little later in the day (and not as cold), I might have headed out to one of the many local bars. Oh well, maybe next time!

Similar to krazyking, I asked Phi if I could take some before/after comparison shots with my Canon 40D. The lighting wasn't the greatest, so my shots didn't come out as well as I had hoped but they're decent enough to give you an idea of how much crap is in there to begin with. Photos below.

By 12:30 or so, I was on my way! Can't thank Phi enough for offering this service and saving us a ton of money versus getting this done at BMW (who wanted to charge me almost $800). Again, like krazyking, I highly recommend others to get the job done there. Clean shop, easy to find, friendly people (and WiFi!).

Since the blasting, my throttle response is definitely improved, as is the idle. No more hard shudders or shakes at idle. I've very happy with the results and I'll definitely get this done again in another 50k miles. Preventative maintenance FTW!

After

This is awesome. I will definitely be setting up an appointment with you guys as soon as my car comes out of hibernation. Been wanting to do this for awhile now. So glad to have a shop around here that will do it at such a great price!

Thanks for the feedback! Make your appointments now! Our cost for this service is almost half of what you would pay at the dealer!

For the N54's 40k~ or less would be a good time to do it. But for the N55's IIRC has a better CCV system.
