I am sorry but I do not follow your reasoning. Most people do not take their BMW to the dragway. Let's assume I do end up taking it to the 1/4 next weekend and my car manages to take the record on Drag Times does that automatically qualify as the best tuning solution? If that is what you mean I simply choose to disagree as I feel there is so much more to proper tuning than a timeslip from the dragstrip. Racing especially at the dragstrip at least in my mind will always be best left to those that practice the most and have budgets and will to throw money on replacing parts and pushing hardware limits.

To be fair to everyone, all the other cars on dragtimes.com (335XI) all have stock turbos. This one had upgraded twins...
Oh yea of course. I didn't do a baseline over the weekend because I had already done it on my last dyno. The last time I was on the dyno with the car misfiring and no flash it made 391 with a 275 baseline. I'd imagine the mustang dyno baseline would have been similar if not even lower based on some of the cars I saw on it

Best is a funny word, define it in your specific case with how to verify the statements. 60-130 times? smooth idle? Dyno Queen numbers? MPG? what?

Garage List
Ok so I got a jb5 g5 and un-installed the cobb to try that out by itself, on map 5 it felt decent but the e30 map on the cobb still pulled alot harder. I then did the bms flash for fbo+e40 and retried map 5, it was a slight improvement over the cobb by itself. when i felt the biggest difference was when i through it in map 7, the car woke up. I am going to do some data logging this weekend bc i think i def may need a lpfp. I do notice the car does run a little more rough in the since that even when it is on map 0 and you hardly tap the gas it kinda wants to jump.

I expect you did, but were 3 or so adaption runs at WOT in 3rd gear made on map 5? Every time you switch out of 5 it loses its memory & goes to base default. Sort of like us old guys, so it needs to be readapted each time.

Running an appropriate flash tune and a piggy back at the same time.
