Window Tinting

Hey,

Just organising to get my e90 tinted. I don't wanna go too dark and be rolling around looking like a drug dealer. What's peoples opinion on the best per-centage to tint the rear three and front two?

Any pictures would also be greatly appreciated. I'm in a Titan Silver car so I think a soft tint would look good.

Thanks,
Liam.

Not answering your question yet its very related. I am having my rears done in the next month or so, been unsure how dark to go. I called the place up i have been pointed to by a lot of people, spoke to them and said I don't want limo black out yet i want nice and dark, they have advised and said when I come down to have a look and between us we will decide what is best for me and my car. I am sure any good place would be the same.

I would go with the lightest. Especially if you have a dark colored interior. Wouldn't bother with the fronts. Could be more hassle than its worth.

Looking around before and I was trying to decide between 35% and 20%. Both of those offer a nice tint without making your car look dodgey haha.

I think 35% looks better seeing as you cant go darker than 70% on the fronts, makes the difference between fronts and backs more subtle.

Doing the fronts is illegal. I wouldn't bother.

Sorry to hijack OP, but how much would it cost to do tints all round?

Was think about 25% myself. Only doing from B pillar towards the rear, so it's only 120 over here.

200 here for rears. Only do rears as already stated due to law. I am not sure how dark to go as yet, but there are 2 ways they seem to measure, how much light they let through and how much they don't, Loads of sites of places that do it with galleries to have a good look at.
