Best Aftermarket Drop-In Filter for 335?

Now I know most of them do the same thing but are some of them easier to clean, i.e. easier maintenance than others? I've only ever had experiences with K&N on my Gruppe M's on my e46's. Also, if you post where you got yours (if you have a link too, great) and how much you got it for, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

I'm curious too - I need someone to convince me they actually make any realistic difference whatsoever... all the descriptions for these things sound like midnight infomercials and stated gains of 2-3 hp seem kind of pointless/unnoticeable when I can just have the OEM air filter replaced for free during the first 4 years.

It seems like ITG and BMC are the most prominent with BMC being a rip-off of the K&N which would also be an option. I'm sure they all help somewhat but it would nice to have someone provide me a fact that would make me choose one brand over the other.

There's actually a pretty good thread somewhere on here that goes over the differences. Try a search on "filters" and you should be able to find it. I personally went with K&N.

I did search but wasn't able to find something of a said thread. Maybe I'm missing it but I did look a couple of times.

I'll dig around and see if I can find it. The reason I remember something being discussed is I think I posted in it.
