Cheap Castrol Edge Costco

Just a heads up for Costco oil deals from 04/11/13 - 24/11/13

4L Castrol Edge 5w/30 & 5w/40 23.98 inc VAT

This is the cheapest I have ever seen it nearly half the price of Halfrauds.

I saw this on a flyer in the store last night. Might be time to stock up for the next service.

Thumbs up

I believe Castrol Edge is LL04. Certainly the last litre I bought was.

Doesn't matter - it can be LL01 or LL04 in petrol engines. Diesels are the only one where it is preferred to have LL04 over LL01

I normally use Castrol Edge 5w30, but thinking of changing to Mobil 1 ESP 5w30. I do 7.5k oil changes. Any point in changing oils?

If anyone is after Castrol edge 0W-30 (LL04) I just bought 8 litres for just under 62 delivered from Nielsen CDG.
Got extra 10% off using a discount code (FACEBOOK10)

Just in time for my service next week.

Euro car parts have it for 29.99 for 4l and have done forever, including free delivery or pickup.

The only place i've heard of that is cheaper than ECP for oil is Costco when they run one of their promotions, but obviously lots of people can't take advantage of these, whereas everyone can from ECP.

The only Castrol Edge 0w30 I can see on their site is LL01 and at 44.99

Although I can see the Castrol magnatec 5w30 LL01 for 29.99

Maybe they sold out the 0w30 LL04?

It's stupid but you have to put in another vehicle to get it to show (i put in a VW Golf 3.2 and it came up with Castrol Edge 5w30 LL04)
