Random shots of der dieselmotor3 (AW e90diesel, BBS)

Trying to work on the photography skills a bit (or lack thereof). I am a complete and utter novice, but here goes.

Snapped a few to celebrate the season...

...and a few more with a diesel brother...

Lol. Duly noted...didn't even notice that I only uploaded sharp angles where you couldn't see the wheels.

Any better?...

Thanks of the car compliments. Are you referring to the photos in the OP (i actually thought those were pretty good) or the two throw-always I posted thereafter just to show the wheels? More detailed feedback if the OP pics, pls. As I said, i'm new to the photography game, just snapping some shots with a non-DSLR, but I enjoy the art and welcome any constructive criticism.

Thanks Alen! I'm actually thinking of bringing them back to diamond black over the winter while the winter wheels are on. Any thoughts?

From a photo standpoint, your pics look fine... composition looks great. A lot of mid and long shots... might need more closeups... LOL

From a car standpoint, some enthusiasts would rather see more detail of the lines of the car, rather than the overall beauty surrounding the item of interest, namely, your ride.

Keep up the good work; we should get together so I could see your lip... molded? taped? in either case, I like what you did. Do you go to any meets? Check out Bimmer Alliance on FB.

that pretty much sums it up! the composition of the photo is great but we're car people! get closer to that car! I'd recommend a 50prime lens and shoot at the lowest possible f stop you can and be close to the subject. Everything in your shot is in focus. would like to see some DOF and the car be the subject. remember to use a tripod! looking forward to seeing your photos in the future!
