P/N vacuum line "T" fitting for diverter valve

Does anyone know the part number for the plastic "T" fitting that connects the vacuum line to the diverter valves? Or anywhere I can get a substitute for it?

I haven't seen it, but if it looks like a small plastic hose barb you can get those at any local hardware store....

If it is part number 15 then a local hardware store would definitely have that....I know getting it from BMW is better, but if you don't want to wait then that is an option....

When I needed a quick vacuum T I would just go to TrueValue or Ace hardware, they usually have them in a few different sizes, but I have only seen white ones there, not black.

Honestly I don't even know because Ace hardware/TrueValue usually has them in the huge stack of drawers that they have behind the register. I never go to home depot for stuff like that because if they have it I can never find it.

They would be in the pluming section, if you can find someone ask where to find "hose barbs" and then just look around. If might help if you can cut a small piece of the hose off so that you can check the size. Good luck!

Edit: They will probably be in a "T" shape and not a "Y' . Although it will still work.....

Does anyone know the size of the stock "T" fitting for the vacuum hose? 1/8 or 3/16?

I'm not positive, but this is what I used to install my boost gauge...

http://www.namotorsports.net/detail....d/DD42-150-851

I think that the T fitting is 1/8" and the vac line was 3/16".

A little OT, but does anyone have the P/N for the small (2") rubber vacum hose that connects from the T fitting to the Solenoid? Or know what size it is to get it at a local hardware store?

Are the T's you get at hardware stores able to survive in the hot engine compartment?

If you are worried about plastic you can always go with a brass one....they should have both.....

I used them on my s2k without a problem and that engine bay use to get retardedly hot. I'm talking hot to the point that it melted one of my batteries and I had to relocate it! Also, if it gets to the point where the plastic T will melt then your rubber vac lines probably aren't going to last very long anyway.
