Woohoo wheels just arrived

These are going to start their lives as winters shod in 235 series Michelin Xice3's and then 255 R-comps next summer... can't wait to get my TPMS sensors next week so I can get em mounted and balanced!

17x9 et30 square setup

Thanks to VAC Motorsports for the typical excellent service.

IS brakes are the same as any other 335i actually

And the 17's actually clear Stoptech BBKs.

I am getting a BBK - either Racingbrake or Stoptech. The 360mm RB should fit - did some measurements.

Thanks yeah I really dig the anthracite color... wanted something with depth and since the wheels are smaller, silver would have exaggerated the smaller size.

Oh and they are ridiculously light. It's so weird picking up a wheel and not even thinking about it!

16.55 lbs

Nice, I've been eyeing these myself, although there seem to be some pretty great options for not much more money.

In for pics mounted!

Very nice. Are you planning on adding a spacer in the rear?

No sir. Not a fan of spacers personally.

Plus my car is an lci so I've got an extra 8mm.. but I still wouldn't use em anyway.

I think they are beautiful too, and functional, and cheap... how on earth can you beat that??

Looks good man, tires hardly look stretched. I guess they run a bit wider?
I'm planning to run the same 235/45/R17 on stock 17x8 rims.

Just checked tire rack... Not sure if this size is still available in the xice3

To answer your question though, as long as the rim width is within the recommended width range on tire rack's site you are ok. That's how I knew it would be safe.

Yeah, I just checked on Michelin's site, the 235/45R17 Xi3s will fit 7.5"-9" rim widths, so I should be good. They're still showing that size and part number, so hopefully they still make it. Maybe its just not a popular size...I'll check on a few more sites.
