Signal Light Flasher Sound!!! Embarrassing!

Not sure where i should have posted this so here it is. This has bothered me with both E90's i have owned and im unsure if every model has the same sound in regards of the signal lights! For a brand that puts so much time and effort in producing the various tones of chimes - warnings etc.. ( BMW. A driving obsession TV special ) they obviously put ZERO thought in the sound of the signal flasher! Reminds me of my first car (chevrolet chevette)..... not impressed! Is there a way to change the flasher or anyone know its location?

That documentary was enjoyable to watch, but that kind of detail to attention happens at every single car company. I found it to be a bit of a long commercial to BMW.

I agree, the point i am trying to make is they seem to have spent hours-days-weeks-months coming up with the perfect tone for various actions or warnings but the signal lights sound like something you would hear in a mack truck, maybe its just my ocd.

I'm okay with the sound, just wish I could make it louder.
I've driven with my blinker on for miles because I can't even hear it when the radio is on at a moderate volume.

Oh I see what your saying now lol my lexus had a ding to let you know your blinker was still going after 60sec. Yeah I wish I still had that feature sometimes, that's why I just use the 3 ticks feature I don't click it down all the way.

Looking at your dash board once in a while will help.

Uhhh I'm not the OP if thats what you were thinking.
I use the 3 ticks, but thats usually not enough when I'm switching lanes!

Garage List
2006 BMW E90  [4.75]
The sound is great, you even noted that they spend tons of time working on tones and chimes for the car... what makes you think they did not put equal time in signal sound

If you are 6ft why do you have the wheel in the lowest position. I am over 6ft and can't get in the car if the steering wheel is lower than the highest position.

wtf. you trippin. these cars have soft clicks that is intentional. you want the loud click clack click clack sound from the cheaper cars like civics, corollas, focus, etc? even the prius designed their "signal click" to replicate the european cars.

Never thought of the blinker sound because it's not important. Nobody who has been in my car thought, "Wow, that blinker sound sucks!" Or "Wow, even the blinkers sound amazing!" No, they like the interior wood trim, the plush leather seats and the ride.

Maybe your seat is positioned higher than mine.
