Problems tonight

Driving down the freeway, give it some gas, expecting Procede to kick in, and the bottom drops out. Well, not literally, but most of the power goes away. It felt like limp mode but without the CEL. Except this problem had the engine running really rough, the shifter was vibrating, the car was shimmering. Not like other times I'd had the CEL. Pulled over, stopped, restarted. Seemed OK, but then the 'service engine soon' light came on (not CEL). Stayed that way all the way home.

Procede 1.47 installed 3 months ago with narry a thrown code.

Have noticed a *slightly* elongated crank time when starting the engine...

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Yup it's your fuel pump. Take your PROcede out tomorrow and drive the car to the dealership on Monday morning. Most people are reporting readily available pumps now so it shouldn't be a big deal.

had the same thing happen to me...Fuel Pump! If the car doesn't start up in the morning fast and turns over many time....this is another sign of bad fuel pump.

Don't forget to undo the solenoid bypass. Someone forgot to undo theirs before going to the dealer and apparently got their warranty voided.

To close the loop... You guys were spot on. It was the high pressure pump. Took the procede off as recommended here and got the replacement pump at the dealer. Thank god that the pumps are now in stock. Thanks again, guys.

Hey Geeman...glad to hear you got everything worked out. Which dealer did you go to for the FP? I am having issues and have been told it's the FP too...
