Funny. I've been wanting to do this for a min. Just havnt had the time , What exactly did u need to get from BMW to make this work ? I thought u just needed the lines. One in the cooler and one out.


You should set up a DYI :-)

I never had a oil cooler in my car my year never came with one so had to get the oil filter housing from bmw that's all

Honestly I don't recall I'm sure u can shop around online

Do a DYI.

The fittings that you used, were they standard fittings you can find anywhere ? I was told you had to bore and rethread the oil filter housing to fit the new lines.. Is this true ? If not. A write up on your part would be great .. Share how you did it. Something I've been looking into but stopped once I heard that.
