Some pics from 10/26 Private Track Day at California Speedway
Here are some shots from the Oct. 26th Private Track Event put on by alternativemotoring.com. We had a blast, and could run all day!! Barely any waiting after each run too.
Hope more Bimmers can make it for the Nov.30th Event... would love to see some Procedes run!

That Supra usually runs about 9 second 1/4 times, but blew a tranny e550 ran about a 13.8, Terry ran 12.44, 001KZ ran about 13.0, and I could only manage 13.4 and trap 104mph. I didn't hear/inquire about the e63. I got pwnd by 12 sec. C6 Corvettes, Full size Dodge truck with a V10 viper engine, 11 second GMC Duramax turbodiesel, 10 second Chevy Nova, Supercharged C5 Vette, and a few others... but I owned 1 C6 Vette when he stalled at the start haha I got 12 runs between 10:30AM and 2PM when I finally left. I could have easily gotten 20+ runs if I didn't take lunch break or hang out cooling the engine Its a great way to learn to properly launch your car. My excuses for the poor 13.4 sec. run even with my JBS2 mod are: 1. I had a full tank of gas. 2. My wheels are 35 lbs each! 3. My General Exclaims don't stick, esp. pumped up to 40psi. 4. This was my 1st time going to the drag strip! 5. I was too concerned with RT and not with good launch. I'm going back for the Nov.30th event with my light weight wheels and stickier tires.
