Which is why im focusing on getting an LSD before upgrading the intercooler. Then i would get the intercooler and THEN think about getting v2.
I know u told us you have 275's but on what size of the rim? 17? 18, 19, or 20inches. if you have 17 inches tires n rime, it does not have that much traction control. If you are running on 19 or 20 inches with 275 30 20 or 275 30 19 w/o lsd, im pretty sure it can handle it. You have to remember something, Biggest improvement without making your car is not street legal is Set of Big RIM n Tire.

The fact remains we get stage 3 performance for much less work and money
Stage 3 S4s regularly trap in the 120s on 100-104 octane. Hopefully we'll see that kind of performance, but I'm not sure it will happen on the stock twins.

And I quote directly from APR's website
"This ultimate turbo system upgrade is now available for the 2.7T cars. This kit is capable of 447 horsepower and 467 foot-pounds of torque at the flywheel on 93 octane gas,"

And this kit costs over 7K can you imagine how much more it costs to get to 653 awhp

Lol on stock turbos, that's sick. Estimates 460hp at the motor assuming a 12% drivetrain loss, 475hp assuming a 15% (no one knows for sure). This suggests that if he really does net another 25hp at the wheels, the car would be making 505 motor hp on the stock turbos assuming the 15% loss.

Beastly.

I am just impressed that we can get to the 400 whp barrier from basically a software tune. BMW really kept a ton of power under wraps.

True. True.

I want to see the track results for Shiv's car. Right now the competition is getting a lot stiffer for the piggybacks. I want official track times....not dynos. We've all seen the 500 hp evos, sti, that cannot translate the dyno to the track.

Regardless, for now very nice garage results to start.

Im sorry you are not correct but close. please double check your calculate again? there some car mag reported that 335i stock got about 300 hp at the flywheel. We have tons of dyno result from dyno results was about 267 to 278 whp. is about 10%- 11 % loss dude to powertrain loss for the manual.. if you dont believe me, i will post my own dyno from my baseline. This is how to do this.. take 300 HP (advertised) x .10 or .11 = 267 (11%). Actual Flywheel is about 340 hp.. they dont published it due to profit margin from e46 m3 and 335i.

First of all, They are very conversative tunner because the dont want to anything drastic change on any bmw car. DInan do aware 335i driver will stress out their car (trans (clutch) or TCC) by racing if tunning it to it max power. Dinan so far ecm reflash @ 40 more whp from the baseline. 2nd , BMW preformance dont want to tune it to the max power without stressing out trans (clutch) and TCC. BMW does not want to tune 335i to max because the 2008 Bmw m3 .. Remember M3 e92 is about 420 at the fly wheel (advertise). They want to distance 335i and m3 apart because profit margin. They make more money on m3 e92 than 335i. I have spoken to one of the Germany engierring (excuse me for the spelling) while i was at the irwingdale speedway. He said BMW will release 340 hp 335i. i asked him when do you think they will release the new generation 335i. He said maybe 2009. He told me he does not know for sure. he also told me that bmw will not do anything to 335i until the m3 e92 come out.. How many are they will be in production. How much profit margin on e92 m3. One year after the release of m3 e92, they will probably release the new 335i to completiting with audi and Mercedez benz. BMW mainly focus on AUDI not as much on Mercedez benz.
lol bro, it's all good. I personally want the dinan ecu upgrade/exhaust mods, BMW performance LSD, and I'm done. I really don't need the fastest most raw car on the street, but I do want a fast-ass machine that handles like a biotch-outta-hell that's warranteed! I'll pay the couple bucks extra up front for that piece of mind fer-shure.
p.s. LACA, do you remember me? I'm the guy with the blk sapph e92tt w/red int at the ProMax meets. We talked about your military stuff with that other dude who was stationed in Norfolk where I lived for a bit. Oh well.

Slow your roll man, it was an estimate and not every car dynos the same and not every dyno puts outs the same numbers, so before you attack me about my estimate of 12.7% which is listed by BMW (which may have actually been 11.7% but i never said i was a 100% sure) and you are going by some dyno that you ran yourself which may be skewed a lil bit, take a step back and re read your comments and get off your high horse cause you ran a few dynos on your car, jeez, what are you like 18???................

I also remember reading the BMW technical info. when the car first came out (written in German) that indicated 12.7% drivetrain loss as well for the manual, so that is what I go by. That means Shiv is pushing 467 HP @ the flywheel
