Please help to get it right.. the first time!

I've been reading threads for weeks before posting, now I'm hoping for some advise, as there are clearly some knowledgeable people on here, that are nice enough to share.

I have the 2010 320d touring. It has the small screen with the basic stereo. Yuck. I am looking to put my own sound system in (Morel hybrids and JL amps) with a sub in the back. I also want to add a DVD player and a reverse camera. But, first things first.

What is the best module to start with? To add a DVD and reverse camera, possibly even TV as I am planning to put screens in the back of the headrests for the rear. Something that will utelise the idrive system? I'm all for the OEM look. I love stealth installs.

The heart of it all would start with some kind of integration? I'd hate to chop and change. Whats the best solution to start building from?

I will post pictures as I go through.

Thanks for any help!

You need to do a better job of identifing your system.

You need to do a better job of identifying your system.
Although a small screen suggests idrive with a cic or ccc system
I am not sure by this description what it is exactly.

The base system modifications for sound quality are pretty well
documented here but modifying the video section is not.
Usually people are putting in a new nav/head unit when they do
video mods here.
Don't exactly know what the Dension Units do to support multiple screens
but I think it does something.

Is that Melbourne Australia or some other Melbourne?
