e46 m3 0r f30 335i m sport

I sold my 335i m sport just before the end of the 2013 and was going to begin looking at the f30 335i m sport. i have test driven one and loved the blistering pick-up, i was not particularly impressed with certain aspects of the build quality, however thought i would probably just go with it at some stage.

Recently i been reading threads regarding the e46 m3 and value for money element combined with performance and was really wondering what all the fuss was about, so i test drove one properly in the last few days and in a nutshell was blown away.

Granted that the M3 running costs are more, there is also a 19k difference between these two vehicles. What i would like to ask is were would you put your money and why?

I've replaced my e46 m3 with e92 325 . It wasn't that expensive to run/maintain as i do most of the thing my self . Now saving for e92 m3 .

Whilst I'm unable to stop modding my E92, I am also seriously considering an e46 m3... a recent job change to London means my Diesel is sat collecting dust sadly and I only go out in it on weekends. I take her for a spin on motorways for about 10 odd miles but feel the M could be on the horizon.. plus it'll be cheaper to mod!!

How is it to drive the M, OP?

Not an E46 mate, an iconic car no doubt, it's run it's course however, looks dated on the inside, also cheap enough for the wrong kind of crowd...it'd be regressive going from an e92 to an e46

As a refresh get a remap....

Brilliant the acceleration is just amazing, the paddles on the steering wheel were a bit fiddly, however soon got the hang of it.
