Ironic & I decided to make a trip up to Point Reyes from SF on a rainy day, here are some photos to share with you guys.

Ironic's Dash: Driving up north to Point Reyes

We arrived at the visitor's center where we took a quick rest & decided where to go next.

Next pit stop was at a local coffee shop...I was about to fall asleep at the wheel.

So...we decided to go up to the light house which is on the wayyy coast of the point. Drove up the main road until we had to split onto the backroads in order to get to the lighthouse. Keep in mind...this is a RAINY & FOGGY day...so we didn't know what to expect. Well, the offroad was fun for awhile...a lot of curves, straight aways, no traffic, & visibility was good.

That is...until we hit the roads approaching the lighthouse, a good 18 miles of off-roading. We drove into cow country...all muddy, dirty, just no one in their right minds would ever take their cars there. (Yes, we are a bit....wee-tard) So we hit signs like Sand Dunes...Rock Areas...and crazy traffic signs that we never seen before. Back to the pics!

Got to the point where we had to use Headlights, Fogs, Rear Fogs, Emergency Signals, and this fool Ironic was driving with his DTC OFF.

FINALLY got to the top of the cliff where the lighthouse was...we were hoping for some shots of the surrounding nature, but only found that we couldn't see 1 ft in front of us due to heavy fog. Plus it was raining like crazy!!! On a brighter note, the rain out there seems to be purer than city rain...

You guys don't even want to know what was on our wheels and body...so much sand/dust/little rocks in our wheel lips...:sad0147:

Then decided to head back down & we got some nice shots coming up towards a beach

Yeah...we stood in the pouring rain to get these shots.

our final stop for the day before we head back was at a old farm house.

Hope you all enjoyed reading our documentary! The drive was insanely fun, great to test the limits of our cars, and we thought it would be different to capture BMW's far from the cities & out at the natural beauty of Cali. (Rain included, )

The location looks like a great place to photoshoot when the skys are clear and dry. SPECIALLy at the old farm house place.
