Is it just me or does the collision and the way the car crumpled look like the guard-rail went in through the BACK of the car?

Edit: Yeah, that definitely went through the back. It missed all structural members and went through the car like it had ski-pass-through in the trunk.

The bad thing about this accident is that those rails should crumple and not impale the car.
There was a long story about rail in the US (I know this isn't the US in these pics) and how the company that was building some rails was falsifying reports.

This looks like an faulty and/or incorrectly installed ARMCO barrier. The same thing that coasted Robert Kubica his hand in Andorra when the barrier went through the undercarriage.

Glad to see the driver was ok, but the images don't make any sense. Did he hit the rail in reverse? The trunk is bent the wrong way for a forward impact.
