Question Sports bolster retrofit?

One thing I don't like about my car is the non-sport seats with the low bolsters, when I go around a corner, being a skinny guy I tend to fly to a corner myself haha.
Is it possible to retrofit in the deep bolsters of sports seats? I have coral red power seats without heaters.

I feel like it would be easier to just buy sport seats and put them in. Not sure if a retrofit is possible

Wouldn't it be possible to go to an upholstery shop and get the bolsters beefed up?

I'm sure you could certainly get something custom done, but I'm also sure it will cost you $$$. As others have said, you'd be better off to get a set of sport seats that have matching options to your current seats and swap them in.

It's plug and play; don't forget to unplug your car battery before you remove your current seats though.

I bought some sport seats on here used and swapped the driver seat. Lost heat but gained power bolsters and the extended leg support. Happy. Easy swap....just be careful putting the new seat into the car....I was an ass and caught one of the rails on my back door...nice deep scratch. Wanted to cry.

That's too bad I was looking on realoem parts looks like you can buy the sports bolsters them selves just not sure if you can just put them in. Not sure why the previous got Coral red seats with out the sports support

Yeah...might be difficult to find that color used.

I paid like $500 for the pair. Now I have two seats in my garage taking up space. May go back to stock soon and make someone's day.

Good luck with it. I got them because I've done some track days and the extra support is incredible.

Now I kinda feel stupid as I track 1-2 tines a year. Not worth it and also lost heat on my driver seat.

Wouldn't it be possible to take the heating pads and harness out of your stock seats and put them into your sport seats?

My statement doesn't help your question at all, but I can't handle the sport seats. The seat is too small for me and it's uncomfortable on my back, I feel like I'm wedged in. Fat guy problems -___-

If the price is reasonable, my answer to this would the extremely sexy BMW Perf. Seats.

If the seat frames are the same between non-sport and sprt seats (realOEM should be able to tell you - I think they are) then you can get the foam and seat covers and have a shop do the installation. I redid my drivers's seat (sport seat manual) at a shop in 2012 the labor was about $300. It's not hard, but the parts are pricey.
