I think they come with the stencil. I dont mind either way. The reason why i got it is because i have Stett CAI and Charge pipe and i dont have to cut into my bumper. the guys there are awesome! they gave me a $50 discount to help with shipping. Plus they gave me these intake cover blocks for free when i asked for it.



The best way to go about ordering stuff from stett is to email them directly because shipping is expensive if you order from the website since they use FEDEX. I emailed them and they agreed to ship all my items via usps at a discounted rate. does take a bit longer but its worth the saving. Just say the guy with the orange pipes recommended you ;]

I believe so attn as it is thinner than the stock cooler. I like the idea of the bash plate too

For that price you could have a ets/ams/helix plus a charge pipe

My reasons for choosing stett.
1. i already have stett intake and charge pipe and is very happy with the build quality and customer service.
2. i dont have to cut my bumper
3. i love the way it looks

the other intercoolers isnt as aesthetically pleasing as the stett one and i might need to trim my bumper which i totally cbf doing.

"CONTSTRUCTION:
Stock- aluminum core with crimped on plastic tanks; O-ring seals with plastic pipes
Other aftermarket intercoolers- use weak factory plastic pipes and flimsy O-rings that are prone to boost leaks
STETT- double welded all aluminum; 4 ply double layer silicone connectors and stainless t-bolt clamps with 304 stainless steel pipes; most rigid leak resistant race proven technology

VOLUME:
Stock- 425 cubic inches;
Other aftermarket intercoolers- cubic inches varies; under radiator and not at the front of bumper so not directly exposed to all incoming air
STETT- 620 cubic inches (45% more); mounts directly behind the bumper opening and not under radiator to ensure maximum ambient air flow and penetration; most efficient race proven technology

AMBIENT SURFACE AREA (area directly exposed to airflow):
Stock- 100 sq in
Other aftermarket intercoolers- sq in varies; shorter and thicker like stock cooler which makes more difficult for air to penetrate core (less thermal efficiency)
STETT- 200 sq in (100% more); Taller (more ambient air exposure and more penetration- quicker cooling) rather than thicker; most efficient race proven technology

CAPABILITIES:
Will handle 620+HP at only 80% of it's capacity - Works great with turbo upgrades!
IAT's 10-20 degrees within ambient at 620HP or less
Flows over 920+ CFM"

basically when i had the old in take, air was channelled into those vents and into the intake. Now that i have the CAI those vents are useless. Apparently it would be better because all the air will now go into cooling the radiator instead of being vented into the engine bay. Less dust too i guess.

Yeah I understand that, and I also try and get the best parts for my car.

But in terms of BFYB there are other proven alternatives imo to consider (I doubt the stett fmic would be $500 better then the other options)

At the end of the day it's his choice and it's a nice fmic

I just chose er intercooler and charge pipe because they fit stock mounting points and work well together. There's a premium worth paying, but you definitely have to keep it in perspective.
