Any place to rent a BMW in SA? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I've been spending quite a bit of time in SA the last couple years, and would kind of like to rent a bimmer there, even for a short time, while my wife and I are on our next trip. We're mostly in the Gauteng province, but would like to take a trip up to Kruger.

We may be there in January again, or possibly not until October (I hope not - too hot!), but I would like our next trip to include a road trip, and a bimmer would be nice. I've spent 2 amazing months over 4 trips in this beautiful country, and I've never made it out of the Joburg / Pretoria / Mamelodi area.

Any ideas?

Most local car hire companies do stock BMW's... the only trouble is that they usually can't guarantee that you will get a specific make of vehicle.... that is because they pack different makes of cars per group. For example, in one group you might find a BMW 320i, Audi A4 2.0, Merc C 200, etc... you only know the type of car you are getting when you collect it

You could try and stipulate that they reserve a specific make for you... may be that might help.... good luck.
