Bluetooth not working? Help? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I am driving the 320i this year and got the bluetooth preparation. I have an XDA 11s PDA phone. Some days it works and some no joy? Whats really frustrating, when you make a call through the car, the phone rings only and it then hangs for a while!!!!

Can anyone help here? Really need a solution? Thanks Gmac.

You should post or request that this thread be moved to the Audio/Bluetooth section.

If your car was built before September, I would check with your service department. I would complain that the Bluetooth is unreliable and that they should make sure your car has the latest software updates. I experienced a similiar BT problem where the connection to the car was hit or miss. It went away after the software update.

I have a E91 with bluetooth connection.
Only fews cellular phones works
Nokia (old models) are right, with new models (N70 that i have, N90, etc.) Voice works but you haven't all functons active (numbers list isn't present)
Motorola V3 is right
Sony Ericcson V800 (that I had) works but every 1/2 months missed the connection - You have to swtch off the phone inside the car and after few minutes you switch on always inside the car and in my case everything was ok - All functions was active
