08 328xi Spark Plug Change - Issues ?

I just changed my plugs today, and wondered if I should have any concern about the condition of the ones I pulled. Car was working fine but figured it was time after sitting idle for 6 months while winter passed, but thought I would ask those who might be better equipped to answer if they look like normal wear and tear after 83,000kms

Thanks !

Those look good.

You want to keep an eye out for excessive black sludge or soot, excessive white coloring, or other abnormalities. The spark plugs you pictured are exactly how a plug should look after extended use. Clean.

FYI - Black and sooty means rich and excessively white means leans. There is other stuff to look out for as well, like a wet plug, but you get the basics.

Yep, those are close to what mine looked like when I changed them.

which plugs did you use? I ask because it us quite confusing to me whether 2008's can use the updated plugs or are they just for the 2009 and later cars?
