Clicking sound, red light blinking on prof. head unit- no aux

Hey guys, I recently installed
1) Jehnert Flat-Line front stage
2) MB Quart rear coaxials
3) JBL XD600/6
4) JBL MS8 - After realizing that the ms8 was defective, we pulled it and used line out converters as a temp.
5) technic stereo 4/6 harness.

Now here's the thing... There's a red light blinking on the back of the head unit, and with every blink there's a pop from the speakers... Even with the head unit turned off. Also, I lost auxiliary. Before I just install a Double Din, what could these problems be caused by? How could I fix them? Thank you for any help!

So this is an aftermarket unit?

So this is an aftermarket unit?
And you used what for a Harness?
between the new HU and the Technic Harness?
The first thing I would do is disconnect the Inputs to the
amp and see if the red light stops.
Is the radio is programmed for base system?
Why line out converters I though the Jl would take high level
inputs.

No, this is an OEM professional head unit. My next option if I can't get rid of the popping and get my auxiliary functioning is an aftermarket unit.

No high level inputs on the JL. The MS8 has to be returned so line out converters were my temporary solution. If i do not get an aftermarket head unit, I'll likely get a helix or mosconi dsp

Jl has instructions for speaker level outs

Jl has instructions for speaker level outs
on there web site . It sounds like there is something you can
make cable wise that makes it work if speaker out are really high.
If the output converters have common ground that could be
a problem.(not a balanced output)Unplug those.
The JL adapter for high speaker level outs costs about 10 bucks.
I would read the manual for the amp first before doing anything..
