UPDATED: Mountek nGroove Snap 2 pictures

Update 10/8/14

I was initially a lover of the Mountek nGroove Snap 2. After 3-4 months of using it, I just feel like the novelty of the product wore off and it became a pain in the ass. I'm looking for alternatives.

Here's why:
• I don't think it particularly fit that well into the recessed CD slot in the E9x.
It junked up the felt on the cd slot and can fall out easily as it loosens after removing your phone from it several times due to the power of the magnetic grip.

• With a manual transmission like mine, you run the risk of hitting the mount when shifting or reaching for the shifter if you're not paying attention. This is particularly evident if you don't drive the car all the time, like if my wife gets in, she hits it every time and it'll pop out of the CD slot. Same thing happened with the guys at the dealership.

• I don't like having to stick the magnetic plate onto my case/phone to use it.

• The thumb screw is just slightly too long to really use the mount well with our cars. I had to flip the orientation of the mount to use it.

____ORIGINAL POST____

When I was searching the forums I couldn't find any decent pics of this mount installed in our cars so since I got mine today I thought I'd share. As you can see from my radio screen, it's an unusually hot day here in the bay area

I may get a shorter thumb screw so I can flip the mount over, currently the screw it ships with will hit the dash if I have it right side up so the mount is installed inverted. Not that it matters a ton.

I will also be purchasing a flat shaped, black colored, lightning cable to run from inside my armrest to the gap that is just below the fan controls so I will have a nice looking install and not have the white lightning cable in my way for shifting.
