the quads are not too far apart like the eisenmann offers

(the link is a 330i)

is it gonna loook like that for the remus which is releasing soon?
The tips are more centered on the Hamann system but overall design is the same as the Eisenmann and Remus. Aftermarket companies designed tips further apart on the 325/330/328 because of the stock system location. If you bought the Hamann system (Over $2000) you are required to buy their (over $1000) bumper. Eisenmann wanted to design a system for these cars that didn't require a new bumper.

Even if it required modifying the hidden trunk compartment and the heat shield, I would like to look into an exhaust that might work for a split single tip exhaust.

Our exhaust will be mounted just like our E90 exhaust.

The Remus exhaust does not have the tips for the dual split. Eisenmann is too far spread apart, and low to no funcionality of the second set of pipes.

I have been talking with CPE about possibly creating an exhaust to fit my description. Is there any interest in such an exhaust being created?

I agree. I just purchased a used 335 rear bumper and would like to run two separate mufflers also.

At this point, would my only option be to run a custom system??

That's what I am planning on doing getting a mtec diffuser and run a custom quad setup. I don't like how on the 328i squad setup looks it's too spaced out imo the 335i looks more flushed.

It was awhile back, but i recall a member did the 328 --> 335 rear bumper mod w/exhaust etc. I just cant remember who it was. I attempted to do a search but had no luck. I believe he had platinum motorsports do it.

My only issue is how I would route the passenger side pipe without it looking like spaghetti. and at the same time wanting both exhaust ports to be funtional. any ideas??

At this point, I'm basically trying to decide which exhaust to go with before I move forward with the bumper install. I just want to get it right the first time.

Modify 328i for 335 dual exhaust

Looking at the bottom pictures of a 335 and 328i they have different trunks and heat sheilds so the 328i (which I also have) trunk area, i.e. weld in muffler hangers and seal up the trunk hole after removing the plastic tub, and then cut out a section of the existing bumper for the second set of outlets. If you want functional duals you'd need to take out the 328 dual to single muffler mid chassis and weld in duals to the new muffler. All in all, doen't look that hard.

I dont know about quads on a 328i. Decent to say a dual be fine since it usually indicates a 6 cylinder but when a car has a quad, well it means it is a serious performing model. A 328i with quads should live up to the quad or you are going to make the rest of us 328s look silly.

I laugh at the TL type S. The Japanese thing doesn't produce at least 300hp and it has quads....
