Zippo Blu Lighters

OK. so who owns one? how are they? reliable? work every time? function good? any problems? 100 bucks is alot to put out for a lighter, but this is so damn sexy. and plus, its a zippo, so it should be reliable. but man, ive had so many bad experiences with butane lighters lol

Did it shrivel up? haha, yeah, it's also fun when the butane doesn't emit a color or anything, so it looks like things are spntaneously combusting.

Dont waste your money.. You can buy a blue flame butane lighter at your local gas station for $10, you can also up the power by unscrewing the screw a little on the bottom, if your lucky they sell the dual blue flame. Basically neat for melting a penny but thats it.

Let me show you what a real pimp uses.

The flame is up to 6 inches long, but if its cranked over 4 inches the flame starts to glow red instead of blue...

It just burns shit up. Use your imagination on what you can use with this lighter.

But red is cooler than blue, you'd want the flame to turn white to have some real fun!

Heck yeah, chances are it'll be well made. Zippo's have been a staple for years so a Butane version is sure to be reliable and well made.

I'd get one. In fact I might...

Sure you can get cheep disposable ones but that is hardly the point. You can write with a 2 cent Bic Pen too, but a decent Waterman feels better.

Not a new concept.

For the sake of saving peoples eyes on this forum from blindness please dont waste your money unless you know what you are getting into. But I light crap with a 125mw green laser (normal laser is 5mw and you can stare at them all day and they wont do harm, this laser could blind you in 1/10 of a second), its very dangers and the potential to get blinded is very high and it must be used with extreme caution and never in public. Works great for lighting stuff between 5-10 feet away, and it can kill balloons even further away.

Not as bad as my brother. Oooh man my brother...I just like screwing around a little and burn a few things here and there. He'll light anything and everything on fire.

Let's just say that one day a few summers ago he accidentally burned down the dining hall of a spa/resort/sanctuary by accident (wasn't his fault, was a problem with the infrastructure). Funny thing is that the owner (our very good friend) benefitted by getting coverage you can't possibly buy and insurance coverage that actually helped him out a lot. Yeah....
