Aftermarket brake pad on OEM rotor

Hi, I am planning to change my rear brake pads. I heard good things about the aftermarket Akebono or Hawk brake pads. I know they are Ceramic composite; different than the OEM pads. My OEM rotors appear to be in good condition. I would like to use these aftermarket pads on the OEM rotors. Would this combination be recommended? Can anyone provide advice and comments? Thanks.

Should work just fine - as long as your old rotors do not have a deep lip or are too thin(min thickness). Just follow the pad instructions for bedding the pads in.

As long as your rotors are in good shape, you'll be fine.
