This modding thing is NUTS. Once I return home I'll be installing my Hotchkis ARB kit, chassis brace, Helix FMIC, the new Cool Carbon brake pads and lastly my new JB interior trim.

Thinking I'm going to go back to the OEM hood along with a CSL rear trunk lid. I'll be putting my hood up for sale soon ...... hopefully!

What do you think about swapping my 328 engine with the e46 m3 engine? will it work with no problems?

e46 M3 huh? The only major hurdle I see right off would be the DME module. Not sure how or if you would need to manipulate that swap to work. It's a great idea especially with regard to the performance mods available for the e46/M3. Another would possibly be engine mount points being different and possibly needing to swap the tranny. I'm not sure what, if any, parts are interchangeable since it's an M car. OMG, that'd be sick! Have you posted the question to the board yet?

What do you think the chances are I'd find someone willing to trade my hood for the OEM JB?

Well, I'm gearing up for my move to TX fellas. Looking to start detailing autos/boats once again just to keep myself busy. 3 weeks before I'm a wanna-be Texan.

I'm leaving Sunday ........ been low 90s here in TN and mid to upper 90s there. With the car on a UHaul open trailer I'm hoping I won't run into and hail/thunderstorms on the way out.

Here's the only pic I took time to snap on the way out ....... after the trip was over with I found that the car is now out of alignment due to the front end bouncing some. Also, I had a hood strut work it's way out of the socket in the hood ......... the roads thru Alabama and West Texas really took a toll.
