So, am I correct in thinking there's lots of room for improvement within the S5 and it's performance? Felt kinda sloppy to me ....... then again it is quattro.

im a single guy myself and sorta miss the sport sedan feel of the S's i owned - the m3 sedan look is really growing on me... black with tint - im thinkin thats my nxt one...
im really not sure re: the S5 and any "room for improvement" - im not familiar with the engine or its performance - ive been in my buddies and it feels heavy and big to me...
plus - audi does not offer the 4 yrs/50K mile service program anymore...

They told me warranty coverage on the car was the same as BMW @ 4yr/50K. By the way, I spec'd a black pearl w/ the red interior & CF inlays ...... Price was 59k and change.

dude - got me thinkin today when some cat parked right nxt to me at lunch with his new silver C4S - beautiful Porsche - really was well done. i just miss the thing so much...but the money their gettin for Porsches these days is ridic... C4s with all the goodies, at the end with tax etc, will be a 100K car... im just not doin it.
id love to find another 06 CPO with low miles and attempt to cut a deal....

The last Porsche I owned was a 1997 911 tt. I loved the way it handled, the raw power I felt just sittign at idle and ofcourse the styling. The maintenance was my biggest headache .... well, that and the fact that just about anything/everything on the car was charged as an option. I really do miss it too .....

toad - i didnt know u had owned a Porsche! - nice - i love the tt back in the late 90's - was it a 993? or 996? doesnt even matter cuz i love all things Porsche.
i cant even put my finger on why or how but the way those things handle and perform, to me, is second to none. but TRUE - maint. is a major issue w/costs now.
Porsche has the largest market up/margins in the industry - too bad cuz others are catching up and there's far more options out there than there were 20 yrs ago.

pdeacon - If I did ever own one again then it would be a weekend warrior type of scenario ......... the only part of the car that took a little bit of getting used to was the stiff/tight clutch. The more you became accustomed....... the more you wanted to haul ass! Definitely would have to be the 997S ..... yum. Mine had been a 996 ... still kick myself now and then for getting rid of it. Should be lots of deals on the Porsches this Summer!

Been a few days so ,sorry for not having posted earlier. Lots of modding going on here ......... MTL, I'll be doing that red CF wrap this weekend bro! I went with the CF/kevlar weave ....... I think you're right and it's gonna look sick!
