Aftermarket / Pattern Part / Ebay DPF

Hi,

Got a 2010 325d E92 which has had the DPF gutted and coded out...not by me.

The smell and smoke are a problem to me so looking to reinstate the DPF.

Looked on line at sourcing a DPF and wondered if anyone had bought a pattern part DPF and if fitment was good and worked as it should.

There seems to be a load of different options for the DPF - I'm guessing a 325, 330 and 335d DPF is the same part given its the same engine?

Help appreciated.

335 is an M57 isn't it?

Look up your engine on ReaLoem that should give you the part no. and what
models it was fitted to

Yes, all E9X 335d's have the M57, it was only the later 325/330d that got the N57.

The DPF is not common though, so one from an M57 325/330d will not fit as 335d, however the E60 535d uses the same one, as well as some other models of that period like the X5.
