You would come in under the cost of doing that with a total
aftermarket redo and it would sound better.
Thats why a Head Unit retrofit seems the only path .
That dynavin unit delivers a lot of gizmos and functions and looks
like it belongs in the dash .( and it does it relatively cheaply)
I don't know how good the quality is and the software is kind
of retro plus I don't think it has pre outs for feeding an amp.
(no preouts is kind of lame maybe I'm wrong on that)
You have to be prepared to put up with all the stuff you have to
do to make the car right though and in the case of L7 that's quite a lot.

2 sets of outputs on the Dynavin - powered which connect through the harness, and line out for feeding an amp. Sound quality using line out into aftermarket amp is quite good.
