Hi,
in the german E90s you can only play MP§ with the Radio Business/ Professional or the Navigation Business.
The Navigation Professional will be able to play MP3s - but not sure when.
So - depending on the system you should be able to play MP3s... unless the systems in the US are different from the ones here !?
