Hypothetically speaking:

You need to make sure your procede wiring harness has the wires installed for the 02 modifier functionality.

How to do that is described here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=450494

At some point Vishnu started shipping V3 harnesses without the physical wires to have the o2 modifier work. If your harness does not have the physical wires you would need the BMS DP fix from their store and wire it in.

Assuming you have the wires in your procede harness and get them wired in as described in the thread above:

1) Turn can clear off (you will not be able to get readiness with canclear on)

2) Turn o2 modifier on (100 is off), for fully catless you will need to be at 50-60. With BMS DP fix, you will just have to play with the dial setting (with canclear off) to make sure you don't get a dash light for cats.

3) Go through emissions the drive cycle to set all readiness. The emissions readiness drive cycle has been posted a few times on this site. Here is a pdf: http://www.europeantransmissions.com...0Procedure.pdf

4) Go get inspected (procede in map0). If you want to be sure you have readiness before you go, there is a $20 tool that will tell you your readiness status:

5) After inspection turn canclear back on, turn o2 modifier off or remove BMS dp fix.
